Luke has had a troubled childhood not growing up with his natural family, he came from a background growing up in foster care, in and out of school, falling in to drug and alcohol abuse and a growing criminal record. After moving out at the age of 15 he was living independent in a B&B, decided he wanted better for his life and began going to school to get his GCSE’s. Achieving 5 GCSE’s he had enough to get to college and went on to gain a-levels, now 5 years later Luke has become an Award Winning Social Entrepreneur working at improving the lives of young people in care.
Dynamism and determinism have shaped his teenage years and early 20’s, Luke is a committed and motivated individual who is fervent to support young people who are experiencing care.
Being a positive role model for children in care to aspire to, giving them a realistic view of achievement he uses his experiences to guild young people to make the best of their situations.
Luke shares his story and dream to inspire young people to follow theirs, to prove to themselves they can make a difference to their own lives and the lives of others.
