Also, why don't you sign up to our mailing list to receive all the latest news about the Lived It awards?
Since graduating from the University of Manchester in July, I have been dedicated to serving Manchester, to give back to a community that has served me so well for the past four years. I want nothing more than for Manchester to be recognised as the great city that it is and I have been doing so by putting Manchester on the map by hosting it’s first ever Global Service Jam and first ever GovJam to try and improve the city centre by teaching Service Design principles.
Why should Vimla be recognised for a "Lived it" Award?
I've worked hard to make the right connections in the city centre and to teach people how Service Design can be used to improve everything around us. This has provided a platform for entrepreneurs, students and companies to grow and learn how to implement key Service Design principles. I live, breathe and work the Jams that I hold, spending 7 days a week dedicated to spreading the word about a worthwhile endeavor that will improve people's lives in so many different ways.
Some evidence in support of this nomination
I have hand written testimonials from the feedback from Manchester Service Jam as well as testimonials from my colleagues on the input I put into the jams.
