Goal! (to be a young social entrepreneur)

Boro take an early lead
Latest score: Boro 3 Blackburn 0

UnLtd’s work with 11 to 14 year olds is under way in two pilot regions: Middlesbrough/Teesside and Blackburn/Lancashire.

In the first round of the SSS Awards, Boro have taken an early lead. Stars from St Peter’s, Sacred Heart and Redcar Academy have opened the scoring, hitting the back of the net with their shots at goal. Yes – their goal is to become young social entrepreneurs! They have put on a fantastic display of skills and moved closer to the final rounds.

Meanwhile, Blackburn are gearing up for action and planning to draw level soon.

Unlike football, this is a game of 3 phases not 2 halves. Boro’s was the first cohort, Blackburn’s will be the second and both areas will be at their strongest in the third.

Unlike the Premier League, there will be many winners. There is the potential for around 60 Award Winners to receive up to £500 each to put their projects into action.
